Please perform the following steps:
In the Command Prompt window please select, copy and paste the following commands:
net stop wuauservren %systemroot%\SoftwareDistribution SoftwareDistribution.oldnet start wuauservrd /s/q %systemroot%\SoftwareDistribution.old
After each command please press Enter
In the Command Prompt window please select, copy and paste the following commands:
net stop wuauservren %systemroot%\SoftwareDistribution SoftwareDistribution.oldnet start wuauservrd /s/q %systemroot%\SoftwareDistribution.old
